Why babies don't come with instruction manuals

Imagine what it would be like if babies came with instruction manuals. After pushing out the cute baby on the left, the manual on the right would have to come out as well, and it's just too big (and the wrong shape) to fit. That's why babies don't come with manuals.

I still think there should be some kind of pocket reference.

It only seems fair that, if the woman provides the baby, the man should provide the reference manual. Perhaps this manual is grown inside the male, who provides the search interface that is not only able to handle complex auditory signals, but also gathers visual and olfactory input.

I wonder if this reference manual exists but is just an underappreciated, and therefore underutilized resource?

People have been raising babies without manuals for thousands of years. Does that make them automatics?
